The R.M. of North Battleford No. 437 is accepting tenders for the hauling and spreading of approximately 5,000 - 10,000 yards of gravel on roads throughout the Municipality. This tender includes the option for a contractor to bid on the haul from a contractor supplied pit, and/or from the RM owned pit. The tender also includes the option for the RM to purchase additional gravel. 1. Tender includes the hauling and placement of gravel from the Municipal owned pits NE-10-45- 17-W3M & SW-24-45-14-W3M as well as the supply and haul from a contractor supplied pit if available to roads throughout the RM as directed by the Foreman. 2. The contract amount will be for an approximate amount of 5,000 - 10,000 yds. 3. The tender also includes the option for the RM to purchase 1" gravel if available. 4. The haul is to commence as soon as possible in April/May 2025, or as directed by the Foreman, and be completed no later than June 30, 2025. 5. The contractor MUST supply no less than 3 trucks per day of the haul program. 6. The contract will be for the 2025 gravel hauling program only. 7. The RM will supply a gravel checker for the entirety of the gravel hauling program. 8. The tendered price of purchased gravel will be effective for the 2025 year. 9. The RM may contract an engineer to test the gravel throughout the duration of the haul and prior to the purchase of any gravel from a contractor supplied pit. Lowest tender not necessarily accepted. Past performance with the RM will be taken into consideration. The RM may inspect and test the contractor supplied pit. The RM of North Battleford No. 437 reserves the right to refuse or reject any or all tenders.
