1. Mill designated section of existing asphalt to a depth of 1-1/2" inches and haul all spoils from the site. 2. Thoroughly clean area to be overlaid with power blowers. Heavy cleaning and/ or power washing is excluded from this proposal. 3. Apply tack coat at a rate of .05 gallons per square yard. 4. Furnish and install 11/2" of compacted #448 Type I asphalt to the entire overlay area with a self-propelled spreader box. (approx. 6,670 square yards) 5. Apply SS-IH tack coat to all the edges of repair to insure proper bonding of the newly placed asphalt to the existing conditions.) 6. Restripe as was previously laid out with ODOT specs. White and or yellow traffic paint, and blue paint for the band practice layout. The Owner (DCS) further reserves its full rights under the law to determine the lowest responsive and responsible vendor offering a bid, to waive any irregularities in the RFQ proposal or process, to reject any or all bids offered, and to conduct such investigation as necessary to determine the responsibility of any vendor submitting "Bid Proposal" for the project named above.
