Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Federal Way, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

This project shall consist of: Construction of marked crosswalk, median refuge island, rectangular rapid flashing beacons, road channelization, ADA curb ramp retrofits, bike lanes, pavement overlay. The City anticipates awarding this project to the successful bidder and intends to give Notice to Proceed as soon as the Contract and all required documents are executed in full. Regardless of the date of award or Notice to Proceed, the Contractor must complete all work within 90 working days. Questions must be received by the City no later than 5:00 p.m. three business days preceding the bid opening to allow a written reply to reach all prospective Bidders before the submission of bids. OTHER PROVISIONS: All bids and this Project shall be governed by the Contract, as defined by the Washington State Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction 2024 (Standard Specifications), which is incorporated by this reference as though set forth in full. All bid proposals shall be in accordance with the Contract and all bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid deposit or bond in the amount required in the Contract. Forfeiture of the proposal bond or deposit to the City shall be in accordance with the Contract. The recipient, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color or national origin in consideration for an award.
