The Maryland State Highway Administration is soliciting a licensed Water Treatment Company to perform a three year quarterly service contract for controlling and inhibiting corrosion, pitting, scale formation and biological growth on those metal surfaces in continuous contact with the water within the Administrations Hot water and Chilled water systems at the following Locations: _ District - 4 Office; located at 320 West Warren Road Cockeysville, Maryland 21030; Hot Water Boiler System _ Hereford Maintenance Facility; located at 306 Mount Carmel Road Parkton, Maryland 21120; Hot Water Boiler System _ Golden Ring Maintenance Facility; located at 8375 Pulaski Highway, Rosedale, Maryland 21237; Hot Water Boiler System and Air Cooled Chiller System The successful contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, tools, transportation, testing equipment, and materials necessary to perform all work in accordance with this specification and scope of work in the manner called for, and to the satisfaction of the State Highway Administration Office of Maintenance (OOM). Vendor is to use best practices established in the industry to perform this work. All work shall be done in a safe manner, adhering to OSHA and MOSH regulations and standards. Vendor shall be licensed to perform work in the State of Maryland. The duration / term of the contract is (36) months from the notice to proceed when total payments reach accepted bid price, whichever comes first.
