**As of May 16, 2025, the project was awarded to Hawk Builders, LLC, with an awarded amount of $$3,630,726.01.** The construction project includes: The Public Works Parking Lot project consists of approximately 21,000 square yards of reinforced concrete pavement, approximately 2,550 linear feet of water main, 1,270 linear feet of security fencing with entrance gates, truss-style storage building with concrete slab, pavement striping, drainage improvements, grading, and associated appurtenances. The Project has an expected duration of 270 calendar days. Bidders must submit with their bids a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) from a reliable Surety Company as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute the bond and guarantee forms provided within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract. Checks will not be accepted. The successful Bidder must furnish performance, payment, and maintenance bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price from an approved Surety Company holding a permit from the State of Texas, to act as Surety and be acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding certificates of authority from the Secretary of Treasury of the United States, or other Surety or Sureties acceptable to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating the price in the bids, the Owner reserves the right to consider the most advantageous construction thereof or to reject the bid.
