Roofing on Troup High School - Berry & Clay is seeking proposals from qualified roofing contractors for roofing select portions of Troup ISD High School, located at 927 Arp Drive Troup, Texas 75789. Base bid: Zone 1& 4 Classroom and Gym Bid alternate: Zone 2 Café Berry & Clay Inc. and Troup ISD reserve the right to reject any or all bids or proposals and to waive any informality and irregularities in the proposals received. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to complete the following tasks: 1. Demolition and Removal: Clean up and prepare the existing roof for new roof-over system. 2. Roofing System Installation: Supply and install a new roofing system over existing. Proposals should include Sika 60mil PVC Roof System with synthetic separation barrier over existing roof. (or pre-approved equal) 3. Warranty: Provide a 20-year single source warranty. 4. Flashing and Trim: Re-work existing drains, re-work existing overflow scuppers. Install related trims and guards, Install PVC boots where required. Reuse existing coping. 5. Roof Inspections: Perform necessary inspections during the installation to ensure all components are up to code and meet manufacture's specifications for warranty. 6. Waterproofing and Drainage: Rework existing rooftop drains-downspouts, gutters, and drainage systems to remain as is. 7. Miscellaneous: Provide new 4x4 pressure treated lumber as rooftop pipe supports. Rooftop units gas piping will remain in place and active during construction. Any concerns need to be voiced prior to contract. 8. Clean-up and Disposal: Remove all debris from the premises and ensure a safe, clean worksite at the end of each day. The contractor is responsible for proper disposal of all materials in dumpsters supplied by the roofer. Proposed Project Start Date: April 2025
