Project is no longer needed.** Calhoun County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding and to award to the responsible bidder submitting the best qualified acceptable bid who, in the opinion of Calhoun County, offers the bid in the best interest of the County. Bids may be held by Calhoun County for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the Bidders' qualifications prior to the contract award. The successful Bidder will be required to purchase and furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of the contract, written by a responsible surety company, authorized to do business in the State of Texas, as required by Article 5160, V.A.T.C.S., as amended by H.B. 344, passed by the 56th Legislature, Regular Session, 1959. Question Deadline 03/13/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by ENGINEER as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
