Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Charleston, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Charleston is requesting qualifications from interested contractors/firms for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) with Design-Assist services for a new multimodal pathway system including two surface parking lots and a new park space (The Lowline) located in Downtown Charleston between Mount Pleasant and Line Streets. Qualifications shall include expertise in pre-construction and construction of municipal/institutional facilities with emphasis on multimodal pathway and park construction. All questions shall be in writing and addressed to: Josh Martin, City of Charleston, Executive Department, 80 Broad Street, Charleston, South Carolina 29401, or email tomartinj@charleston-sc.gov. All questions must be received before 12:00 noon on February 25, 2025. Responses to all questions will be issued via addenda no later than 5:00 PM on February 25, 2025. The City reserves the right to reject any proposal or submittal that contains prices for individual items or services that are unreasonable when compared with the same or other proposals if such action is in the best interest of the City.
