Question Deadline 02/28/2025 Bidders and Sub-bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall make a written request which shall reach the Architect at least five (5) days prior to the date for receipt of Bids Qualified bidders are invited to submit bids for Tremont Grade School Roof Modifications located at 200 South James Street, Tremont, Illinois 61568. Project consists of removal of existing exterior metal shroud around a gymnasium, and recladding of existing gymnasium exterior walls. Additionally, there is minor roof patching at wet insulation and repair associated with the shroud removal work. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Bidders shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, a separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to the Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
