The project, Parkwood Blvd/Cotton Gin Rd Waterline and Transfer Valve, includes the installation of approximately 5,100 ft of new 24-inch waterline on Cotton Gin Road and Eubanks Street between Parkwood Boulevard and the west side of the Dallas North Tollway (DNT) and the installation of approximately 4,850 ft of new 24-inch waterline on Parkwood Boulevard between Stonebrook Parkway and Eubanks Street. At the waterline connection point, on the west end of the project, there is a transfer valve station with valves, piping, a structural vault, and associated electrical and instrumentation and controls. At the East end of the project, the new 24-inch waterline connects to an existing 24-inch water stub-out from an existing 36-inch waterline that routes down Stonebrook Parkway. The project also includes pavement improvements on Cotton Gin Road and Parkwood Boulevard. Additional sidewalk, associated landscaping and irrigation improvements are also included in the project.
