Closing Time: 2:00 PM (NT) Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/03/08 02:00:00 PM NST 1 The work covered under this project consists of the furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment, hardware and materials complete in strict accordance with specifications and accompanying drawings and subject to all terms and conditions contained therein. .2 The work will consist of, but will not necessarily be limited to, the following: .1 Replacement of existing culverts. .2 Removal of existing asphalt. .3 Scarify and reshape existing road and placement of new Class "A" granular base and new asphalt. .4 Removal of existing water service lateral and curb stops. .5 Supply and installation of approximately 18 new water service laterals. For the water services, a new curb stop shall be provided at the edge of the property boundary and the new service water line shall be connected to each existing water service. .6 Supply and erection of a project sign. .7 Any other items that are shown on the Drawings. The bid bond shall be at least ten percent (10%) of the bid amount (without HST). All bids, regardless of monetary value require a Bid Security of at least ten percent (10%) of the bid amount (without HST), with a minimum security of five hundred dollars ($500.00). Bid Securities shall be in the form of a Bid Bond or Certified cheque in favour of the Owner. An approved Certified cheque may be substituted in lieu of the bid bond. The bidding security will be returned upon receipt of the Performance and Labour and Materials Bonds. A Performance Bond will be required in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the contract price (exclusive of HST). The Performance Security is to be received not later than fourteen (14) calendar days after the award of the contract and prior to the formal execution of the agreement. No work is to be undertaken until the Performance Security has been received. Performance Security will not be required for a contract value of less than $25,000. A Labour and Materials Payment Bond will be required in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the contract price (exclusive of HST). The Labour and Materials Payment Bond is to be received not later than fourteen (14) calendar days after the award of the contract and prior to the execution of the formal agreement. No work is to be undertaken until the Labour and Materials security has been received. Labour and Materials security will not be required for a contract valued at less than $25,000.
