Site work and renovation of an educational facility in Sherbrooke, Quebec. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Reference number: 20049092 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2025-02-27 Construction and Connection of Prefabricated Units for Temporary Classrooms at École du Saint-Esprit. Construction of new prefabricated modular classrooms, including a corridor-link and some related interior work. Based on rigorous criteria, these buildings will meet current needs for a minimum period of 5 years and a maximum period of 10 years. In addition, some related work will have to be carried out in the existing buildings to reach the electrical rooms and make the junction with the corridor-link. More specifically, the works included are as follows (non-exhaustive list): - Delivery to site - Layout of corridor links between existing school and prefabricated modules, including interior systems, finishes and electromechanical equipment - Layout of prefabricated modules, including interior systems, finishes and electromechanical devices. - Ventilated perimeter skirt. - Exterior steel staircases with necessary steps and seating. - Computer and intercommunication cabling, wiring inside the modules and connection to the existing school. See also electrical performance estimate. - Connection to campus utilities. - Related work in existing school. - Supply and installation of lockers/desks (in woodwork). - Addition of a divider curtain in the gymnasium. - A 2-meter-high 'FROST' fence with padlocked gate will be installed to prevent access between the modular units and the existing school.
