The City of Sachse is seeking the assistance of a professional planning consultant to develop an economic development strategic plan that focuses on specific areas of need. In 2021 the City of Sachse developed goals and objectives for the economic development program. These were revised internally by staff and readopted in 2023. Now the City would like to bring in a professional consultant to produce a strategy document with clearly defined and actionable goals. As part of this plan, among other items outlined within this document, the City seeks a robust target industry analysis / cluster analysis uniquely tailored to Sachse. Successful plan implementation will be critical, and monitoring and reporting progress will be important as staff takes steps to fulfill plan recommendations. The consultant will be expected to assist in the establishment of relevant metrics that tell Sachse's economic development story.
