Deadline for MEP subcontractors to be prequalified by the OWNER: December 15, 2025, occurring 5 business days prior to Bid Due Date. Bidder must only list MEP subcontractors that are prequalified by the OWNER as of this date. OWNER will attempt to ensure that all prequalified MEP subcontractors are placed on the OWNER's List of Prequalified MEP Subcontractors in a timely manner. However, if an MEP subcontractor does not appear on the list, bidder should verify with the subcontractor to determine if subcontractor has received a notice from OWNER that confirms its prequalification by the deadline. Bids that fail to adhere to this requirement will be deemed non-responsive by the OWNER. Bid security in the amount of ten (10) percent of the lump sum base bid, shall accompany each bid. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and pre-bid job walk will be held in . The bidder is responsible for ensuring that they have complete Bidding Documents including all Addenda provided by the OWNER, prior to the bid due date. Any bidder that does not attend a not mandatory pre-bid meeting shall be held accountable for any reasonably foreseen condition had they attended the meeting. Bidder is responsible for the cost of bid package. Cost for bid package is non-refundable. Bid package is no returnable. The Districts contract bond estimate is $4,635,000 The Contract Time is 330 days. OWNER has the right to reject any and all bids. OWNER has the right to deem any bid not accompanied by all items required by the Bidding Documents, or a bid which is in any other way deemed materially incomplete or irregular, as a non-responsive bid. Clarification or any other notice of a change in the Bidding Documents will be issued only by the OWNER office of Facilities Construction Contracts and only in the form of a written Addendum, transmitted by fax or e-mail to all who are known by the issuing office to have received a complete set of Bidding Documents. Any other purported Addenda are void and unenforceable. B. Bidder is responsible for ascertaining the disposition of all addenda issued regardless of OWNER notification and to acknowledge all addenda in the submitted sealed bid prior to the bid opening. In accordance with the Board of Education of the City of Los Angeles (Board) adoption of a participation goal of twenty-five percent (25%) for Small Business Enterprises (SBE) and five percent (5%) for all Veteran Business Enterprises (VBE), per contract, of the overall dollar amount of funds allocated to the school construction and modernization program, the OWNER requires bidders to submit SBE and VBE information as set forth in this section Question Deadline 12/15/2025 Each transmitted request shall contain the name of the person and/or firm filing the request, address, telephone and fax number, Specifications and/or Drawing number. Bidder is responsible for the legibility of hand written requests. Pre-bid clarification requests shall be filed a minimum of seven (7) days prior to bid opening.
