The Waverly South Shore School District, Waverly, South Dakota, along with HKG Architects of Aberdeen, South Dakota are requesting proposals for Construction Manager at Risk with Guaranteed Maximum Price (CM@R) for construction and renovation, Waverly, South Dakota. Project Description: Scope of work involves adding additional classrooms, bathrooms and a mudroom onto the existing elementary school. In addition, renovation within the existing elementary involves renovation and expansion of existing bathrooms and storage space. Work will also include a new lunchroom, kitchen and weight room. The CM@R selected will be closely involved in final planning and budge ng prior to the development of final construction drawings. The selected firm will be looked to for advice on constructability, realisi c tmelines and budgets. The selected firm should be prepared to work with the architect and school board to develop a final plan to be approved by the school board prior to the development of final construction drawings and specifications. Priority is to have the elementary renova ons and new classrooms ready for occupancy of the 2026-2027 school year. The construc on type is yet to be determined.
