2020 BOND Bid Package #30 - Exterior Renovations & Roofing The following bid categories are included in this project: 021000 Selective Demolition 042000 Masonry 061000 General Trades 070000 Roofing Construction: Summer 2025 (potential to pull ahead roofing and screenwall work) Bids shall be prepared in accordance with specifications outlined in Request for Bid. They will then be evaluated, with awards subsequently to be made by South Lyon Community Schools. No immediate decision will be rendered the day of the bid opening. If you do not register a valid email address, which you verify on a regular basis, you will not be notified of changes to Request for Bid documents. No other request for Bid change notifications (addendums) will be honored. Bid security by a quality surety in the form of a bid bond, cashier check, or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid/Quote/Proposal amount shall be submitted with the Bid. All cashier's checks must be scanned and submitted electronically. The district will not consider a Bid that does not include a bid security. Bidders will be permitted to withdraw their Bid, unopened, after it has been submitted if so requested prior to the time specified above for opening of Bid. The successful bidder shall be required to enter into a contract with South Lyon Community Schools. The successful bidder shall pay all taxes required by law. The district will not consider a Bid that does not include this sworn and notarized disclosure statement. Each Bid must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement certifying that the Bidder is not an "Iran Linked Business" within the meaning of the Iran Economic Sanctions Act. The district will not consider a Bid that does not include this sworn and notarized statement. The right to reject any or all Bids, either in whole or in part, or to waive any informalities or irregularities therein, is reserved by South Lyon Community Schools. The Board of Education will not consider or accept a Bid received by the Board after the date and time specified for receipt of Bid.
