Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Tenafly, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Project consists of one (1) Base Bid. The Base Bid consists of roadway improvements along Engle Street, from Highwood Avenue to East Clinton Avenue. The work includes milling and paving, full depth pavement repair, accessible curb ramps, repair of interior drainage structures, upgrading inlets with eco curb pieces, curb repair, and striping. All work on this contract must be completed within forty-five (45) calendar days from issuance of a Notice to Proceed. If indicated, bid proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of ten per centum (10%) of the total amount of the bid, but not in excess of twenty thousand ($20,000) dollars and made payable to the Borough of Tenafly. If bids are to be submitted electronically in accord with this notice, then the bidder shall submit a copy of the bid guarantee with electronic submittal and mail PRIOR to bid opening the original to the Borough Clerks Office, 100 Riveredge Rd, Tenafly, NJ 07670. Proposals for this contract will only be accepted from bidders who have properly qualified in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents. The right is also reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities where such informality is not detrimental to the best interest of the Owner, except as to those items which are deemed mandatory and non-waivable set forth in N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.2. Further, the Owner reserves the right to abandon the project and reject the bids entirely if any legal or state or federal administrative action is taken against the Owner which could delay or jeopardize the project from commencing. The right is also reserved to increase or decrease the quantities specified in the manner designated in the Specifications. The successful bidder shall be required to comply with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, which include but are not limited to the affirmative action requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq.
