Site work and new construction of a clubhouse / community center in Paulatuk, Northwest Territories. Completed plans call for the construction of a 3,754-square-foot, two-story above grade clubhouse / community center.

Provide all design, supply and construction services necessary to complete the project in accordance with the Request for Proposal including all Appendices. a/ A complete Code analysis of the Community Hall to ensure that the facility meets all requirements of the National Building Code, all other applicable Codes, Standards, Fire Marshal bulletins, and comply with current GNWT Best Building Practices for northern facilities. b/ Proponent will be required to use NWT licenced architects and engineers for the architectural and engineering services. Proponents who are not members of NWTAA or NAPEG should clearly indicate they will apply for membership upon contract award. c/ Proponent to submit a schedule of work with Design Build Contract, CCDC. d/ Proponent to provide Operational and Maintenance Manual and As-Build drawings as part of documents with Substantial Completion. e/ Proponent to consider energy efficiency in the design of all systems and with special consideration for simplicity of operation mainly due to limited maintenance available in remote community. f/ proponent is advised that Hamlet may consider solar panels to operate some electrical components in hall. Separate pricing is required for review. The new Community Hall shall be a prefabricated steel insulated building with rigid steel frame (Behlen or equivalent) Proposed building area size is 351.5 m2 (3754 sq. ft.)
