The project upgrades the track and field areas including replacement of the existing decomposed granite track with a new synthetic track, reseed of existing natural turf football field, irrigation and drainage, fencing and gates, new relocated batting cage, and new football scoreboard and goal posts. The project also includes associated landscape, hardscape, and infrastructure upgrades. A donation from Lulu's Place, a youth center being developed south of the campus, provides funding for capital improvements to the baseball and softball fields including refurbishing the decomposed granite infields, new scoreboards, new dugouts and bullpens, new backstops and protective netting, overseeding of the grass fields, portable bleachers, and benches and signage. The project is included in the Los Angeles Unified School District's FY 2025 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of April 21, 2026, information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available.
