Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Allendale, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials and means to construct various improvements as depicted in the Contract Documents for the Project. The principal Items of Work, include but are not limited to: Mobilization 1 Lump Sum Removal of Pavement 2,425 S.Y. Base Course Preparation 1 Lump Sum Dense Graded Aggregate, If and Where Directed 110 Tons HMA 9.5M64 Surface Course 310 Tons Underdrain, Type F 235 L.F. Yard Inlet 3 E.A. Traffic Marking Lines, 12" 150 L.F. Traffic Marking Symbols 48 S.F. Topsoil Spreading, 4" Thick, If and Where Directed 204 S.Y. Fertilizing and Seeding, Type A-3, If and Where Directed 204 S.Y. Straw Mulching, If and Where Directed 204 S.Y. Fuel Price Adjustment Allowance Bids shall be submitted to the Borough in the bound Project Document Book, which shall be left whole and intact in every respect. Bids shall be enclosed in an opaque, sealed envelope, plainly marked "GRANDSTAND PARKING LOT RESURFACING" and shall show the name and address of the Bidder. Bids may be forwarded by certified mail. If mailed, the sealed envelope containing the Bid and marked as above, must be enclosed in another envelope properly addressed for mailing as follows: Linda Cervino, RMC Municipal Clerk Borough of Allendale 500 West Crescent Avenue Allendale, New Jersey 07401 The delivery or non-delivery of the Documents or Bid is the sole responsibility of the Bidder. The Borough will not be responsible for late postal delivery or late delivery of courier service and no Bids will be accepted after the time stipulated and set forth above. Bidders are required to comply with the provisions of the New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law (N.J.S.A. 40A:11 et seq.) and the requirements of the Public Works Contractors Registration Act. All Bids must be accompanied by: Bid Guarantee in the form of a certified check or cashier's check or bid bond for not less than ten (10%) percent of the bid amount, provided said check or bond need not be more than $20,000.00; Certificate from a Surety Company guaranteeing that the successful Bidder will furnish performance and payment (labor and materials) bonds, each in a sum not less than 100% of the total price for the complete bid if awarded, with an approved surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and acceptable to the Borough; Statement of Corporate Ownership, setting forth the names and addresses of all stockholders in the corporation who own ten percent (10%) or more of the stock in any class, or of the individual partners in the partnership who own ten percent (10%) or greater interest therein; Listing of Subcontractors; Notarized Non-Collusion Affidavit; Notarized Bidder's Affidavit; Acknowledgment of Receipt of Changes to Bid Documents Form; and Bid Document Submission Checklist. The Borough reserves the right to waive minor defects and informalities in any Bid and to reject any and all Bids, or to accept Bids that are, in the opinion of the Borough, in the best interest of the Borough. The Borough reserves the right to reject any Bids which exceed the available financial appropriation for this Project.
