The Cheboygan County Road Commission will accept sealed bids for supplies pertaining to Mineral Brine and Liquid CaCl2 Materials. All Work and Materials shall meet current MDOT Standard Specifications for Construction, 2020. Successful bidder shall provide lab analysis of materials and Safety Data Sheets and Certifications that all materials meet State and/or Federal requirements for intended use. NO FRACKING MATERIAL ALLOWED. The 2025 dust control program for the Road Commission Primary Road system is estimated at 42,000 gallons. Applied material will be placed at the direction of Authorized CCRC personnel. This does not include Township road brine. Any brine ordered for Townships will be placed at the direction of the specific Townships. The estimated volume of material for the 2025-2026 winter season is 20,000 to 40,000 gallons of mineral brine with minimum of 26% concentration. The CCRC reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity based on its need at the time of order. Materials may also be used on infrastructure maintained for the Michigan Department of Transportation. Cheboygan County Road Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, in whole or in part; to waive irregularities or informalities; and to award bids, in whole or in part, as deemed to be in the best interest of the Cheboygan County Road Commission.
