Renovation of a multi-residential development in Fort St. John, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Prime Consulting Services, Mechanical Upgrades Heritage Manor 1, 9819 107th Ave, Fort St. John, BC Heritage Manor 2, 9824 106th Ave, Fort St. John, BC Brief Description of Work Heritage Manor 1 is a three-storey wood-framed building built in 2002. This senior housing building consists of 35 one and two-bedroom units. Heritage Manor 2 is a three-storey wood-framed building built in 2007. This building is operated as a care facility and consists of 24 one-bedroom units. The scope of work for both buildings is, but not limited to: Install Heat Pump coil for the AHUs; Install Air Source Heat Pump for DHW; Consultant to install an ultrasonic flow meter to monitor hot water demand to right size equipment. TIMELINE: Request for Quotation to provide consulting services for mechanical upgrades for the project has closed and a preferred proponent has yet to be identified. The consultant needs to assess the building condition and requirements. And specify materials, sizes, and configurations for optimal performance. The consultant needs to apply for a Building Permit if required. The consultant needs to perform tests to verify system performance. And adjust settings and controls for optimal operation. The consultant needs to provide detailed cost breakdown for each scope of work item. It is intended that both buildings will be awarded to one (1) Prime Consultant; however, there will be a separate awarded MPA contract for each location. Further update in early summer 2025, pending selection of a preferred proponent.
