Reference Number 0000287784 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/03/04 12:00:00 PM CST Completion Model The Contractor Shall Be Assessed Liquidated Damages in Accordance With the Specification for Liquidated Damages - Completion Specified by Completion Date. Commencement of Work Work Shall Commence on or About April 1, 2025, and Continue Until Freeze-up in the Fall of 2025. Response to Request for Work The Contractor Shall Respond to a Request for Work by a Department Representative Within 24 Hours of Receiving the Work Request. A Response to a Request for Work Will Be Defined as the Contractor Having a Motor Grader on the Project and Operational. Failure to Respond to a Work Request Within the 24-hour Time Limit Will Result in a Penalty Day. Liquidated Damages Notwithstanding the Specifications for Liquidated Damages, Penalty Days Will Be Assessed by the Department for Each Day the Contractor is Unable to Respond to a Request for Work After the Initial 24 Hour Response Time Limit. The Department Will Continue to Charge Penalty Days Until the Work Request Has Been Responded to. Daily Liquidated Damages After the Specified Response Time Limit Will Be Assessed at the Rate of Eight Hundred ($800) Dollars Per Day Until the Work Request Has Been Met. Seasonal Shutdown Date The Seasonal Shutdown Date for This Project is October 31, 2025. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
