Amtrak is currently accepting Letters of Interest for Construction Services in support of our Portland Station Lounge Door Replacement Project. All questions concerning this opportunity should be directed to the Procurement Agent listed in this advertisement only. Introduction: Amtrak is accepting Letters of Interest for Construction Services in support PDX - Lounge Door Replacement. Responses are to include qualification information requested/stated below and be limited to ten (10) one-sided typed pages. Amtrak, at its sole discretion and without discussion, will determine which Contractors are to be added to its short list for the forthcoming Invitation to Bid. The scope of work for this project consists of: Door Replacement Remove existing pocket door and frame. Prepare the rough stud opening, for install of new door and frame. Install new 4-panel door. o Left-hand in-swing, as you enter the room from the lounge. o New door and frame size to match existing. o New door casing to match existing. o The 4-panel pattern and wood grain finish must be in-kind replacement. o Color and finish to match existing. o Door hardware finish to match existing door hardware throughout the lounge. The door hardware type is TBD. Doorstop(s) TBD. o The replacement drywall texture, chair rail molding, baseboard moldings, paint colors, and paint finish shall all match existing.
