Manual High School Track and Field Reconstruction Project Location- 811 S. Griswold St. Peoria, Illinois 61605 All bidders are hereby advised that they must be able to submit, if requested by the Owner, an Illinois Department of Transportation and/or Illinois Capital Development Board Pre-Qualification Statement for this Project prior to opening of Bids. Bids will be held good and may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days from due date. It is anticipated the Board of Education will be acting on the bid Monday, March 10th, 2025. Every bid shall consist of two (2) completed copies of Bid Documents and shall be accompanied by bid guarantee consisting of Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Bank Draft made payable to Board of Education, Peoria Public School, in an amount equal to and not less than ten percent (10%) of total of bids upon which Contractor is bidding. Failure of bidder to submit Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Bank Draft in amount to cover proposal(s) being bid upon is cause for rejection of this bid. Checks or drafts of unsuccessful Bidders will be returned as soon as practical, after opening and checking the bids. Commencement of the work may begin as early as March 11th, 2025 pending the contractor's submittal of an executed contract along with the submittal of the required insurance certificate(s), bond(s), and any other miscellaneous documents. All work shall be substantially completed on or before June 27th, 2025. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to accept any or reject all bids when in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve the best interest of the Owner.
