Bid Intent Not Available Arapahoe County in partnership with the City and County of Denver is seeking to construct a High Intensity Activated Crosswalk (HAWK) signal where the High Line Canal crosses Quebec Street. The crossing is located just south of the Quebec Street and Evans Avenue Intersection 1.5 mile east of I-25. The High line Canal crossing at this location sees close to 1000 pedestrian and bicycle crossing per weekday. This signal will increase safety of the pedestrians and bicyclists. Work on this project includes the installation of a single pole, double mast arm High Intensity Activated Crosswalk Signal and all the included control equipment, wiring, communications, and signals. Also included in the work will be construction of new handicapped ramps, modifications to the center median and all the associated signing and striping. In addition, The City & County of Denver will construct two Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB) on Yale Ave, One just west of Quebec Street and one just east of Monaco Pkwy at the High Line Canal crossings.
