The City of Cibolo invites sealed Proposals for municipal solid waste collection and disposal, including the collection of recyclables, possible composting, household hazardous waste and bulk and brush pickup. Initial Term: August 1, 2025, through July 31, 2030 Extension Term: One (1) additional five (5) year term Enclosed with this Proposal is a Certified Check or a Proposal Bond in the sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($ 50,000.00) made payable to City of Cibolo which it is agreed shall be collected and retained by the Owner as liquidated damages in the event this proposal is accepted by the Owner within ninety (90) days after the Proposals are received and the undersigned fails to execute the contract and the required bond for the Owner within ten (10) days after the date said Proposal is accepted, otherwise, said check or bond shall be returned to the undersigned upon request. Upon Contract execution, Contractor shall furnish to City a Performance Bond from a reputable banking institution, reasonably acceptable to City, with a corporate surety to guarantee the faithful performance of the obligations under the Contract in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the estimated annual value of the Contract.
