The Work Includes the Following Partial Listing of Items With Approximate Quantities: Replacement of the Lead Service Line From the Water Main to the Water Meter for Approximately 825 Services and Verification of About 148 Water Service Lines With Associated Pavement, Sidewalk, and Turf Restoration Within the Project Area Bounded by West Ave to the West, Michigan Ave to the North, Martin Luther King Jr. Dr to the East, and Prospect Rd and Audubon Blvd to the South in the City of Jackson, Jackson County, Michigan. Major Bid Items Include: Water Service, 3/4" (Curb Box to House) - 802 Ea, Curb Stop and Box on Water Service - 802 Ea, Short-side Water Service, 3/4" (Main to Curb Box) - 480 Ea, Remove and Replace Road (Local) for Water Service Tap - 583 Ea, Long-side Water Service, 3/4" (Main to Curb Box) - 323 Ea The Term of the Contract is Subject to One (1) Renewal Contingent Upon Approval by Both Parties. If Both Parties Agree to Renew the Contract, the Unit Prices Contained in the Previous Year's Contract Shall Be Multiplied by a Factor of 1.03 to Adjust the Unit Prices for the Renewed Contract. Bidders will be required to meet the City of Jackson's prequalification requirements prior to bid opening. Bidders must be prequalified for Watermain (I) or Plumbing (T).
