Hamilton Southeastern Schools ("Owner"), is requesting proposals from responsible offerors to provide Construction Manager as Constructor services for those construction management services in connection with Hamilton Southeastern High School Renovation. HSE Schools has allocated at least $100,000,000 to renovate and expand Hamilton Southeastern High School. It is HSE's recommendation that the HSE High School Renovation, Update and Expansion Project will be done in two or more phases over a period of approximately 4 years using the construction manager as constructor method under Indiana Code 5-32. The project will include all or any portion of (a) the construction and equipping of a 2 story academic addition on the south side of the current facility, which upon completion will contain approximately 200,000 square feet, (b) the renovation, updating and equipping of the old A and B wings to accommodate a Career and Technology Academy, (c) the updating and renovation, repair and/or restoration of interior and exterior finishes throughout the entire facility, (d) addressing building envelope issues with renovations, repairs, restorations and/or replacement as determined to be necessary or desirable by Owner, (e) replacing the skylight, (f) updating mechanical, fire, electrical, plumbing, lighting, technology and public address systems, (g) furniture replacement, and (h) site improvements, including, but not limited to, repair, restoration and/or updating of parking lots, sidewalks and curbs.
