Washington County Board of Supervisors (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: MCWI Distribution Improvements for Winterville Water Association The Project includes a distribution improvements for Winterville Water Association's system in Washington County. The Project has an expected duration of 270 days. A copy of the plans and specifications may be examined at the office of the Engineer, Heflin Engineering, 1700 W Government St, Building A, Suite J, Brandon, MS 39042. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be furnished by each Bidder as required by the Contract Documents. Washington County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any and all informalities, and reserves the right to hold all Bids for examination for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days and to award Contract to the lowest and best Bid complying with the Plans and Specifications within said time. Funding for the project is through a Mississippi Municipal and County Water Infrastructure (MCWI) Grant. Contractor shall conform to the grant requirement.
