Questions Due Date: Mar 11th 2025, 1:30 PM EDT Questions submitted via online portal. WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS/REQUIREMENTS INCLUDED A. The work included in this contract consists of, but may not be limited to the following improvements at the Shady Hills Water Reclamation Facility: 1. Construct new headworks east of the existing headworks. 2. Construct grit handling facility. 3. Construct new electrical and control buildings. 4. Run new power and instrumentation conduit and wires. 5. Install screening, grit removal and grit handling equipment and process piping in new headworks and grit handling facility. 6. Demolish existing odor control. 7. Wet tap existing incoming 48Inch wastewater forcemain and install new yard piping from the tie in point to headworks. 8. Install new yard piping and valves, demolish and remove or abandon existing yard piping, and connect to existing piping. 9. Construct pavement, sidewalks, and perform grading and other civil sitework. 10. Complete painting. 11. Perform testing and training on new headworks. 12. Place new headworks into operation and take the existing headworks out of service. 13. Perform demonstration of new headworks. 14. After acceptance of new headworks, line stop and cap the influent 48inch forcemain downstream of the new tie-in. 15. Demolish existing headworks. 16. Construct new odor control system and conduct start up and testing. 17. Make remaining piping connections, demolish and remove old headworks, influent flow meter assembly and remaining process piping not which was not previously demolished. 18. Modify the stormwater/drainage systems including constructing new retention pond in the area southwest of existing headworks.
