Fulton County Public Works Director David Clark said the North Fulton Water Distribution Master Plan and a separate rate study will help determine which projects and funds are necessary to maintain the system. Commissioners will have an opportunity to discuss and vote on the rate study in the next one to two months, Clark said. The improvements are being made to accommodate expected growth. While the county owns all sewer collections north of Atlanta, its water distribution pipes only service Johns Creek, Mountain Park, Alpharetta, Milton and most of Roswell. -------------------------------- Three Projects are the following: True North 400 Bus Shelter Program: Holcomb Bridge Road at Dogwood Road; Windward Parkway at North Point Parkway Intersection Improvements; Lakeview Parkway Sidewalk Improvement. Deadline for Receipt of Written Questions02/19/2025 4:00 PM The NFCID reserves and shall have the right to make such adjustments in the Work as may be necessary or desirable to complete the Work originally intended in an acceptable manner. Unless otherwise specified herein, the NFCID may make such adjustments in the Work which may increase or decrease the originally awarded Contract quantities. Adjustments shall not invalidate the Contract nor release the Surety, and the Contractor agrees to accept payment for such adjustments as if the altered work had been a part of the original Contract. The adjustments which are for Work within the general scope of the Contract shall be covered by Supplemental Agreement issued by the NFCID. Supplemental Agreements for altered Work shall include extensions of Contract time where, in the NFCIDs opinion, such extensions are commensurate with the amount and difficulty of added Work. Whenever an alteration in character of Work involves a substantial change in the nature of the design or in the type of construction or materially increases or decreases the cost of performance, a Supplemental Agreement acceptable to both parties shall be executed before Work is started on such alternation, except that in the absence of a Supplemental Agreement acceptable to both parties, the NFCID may direct that the Work be done either by Force Account or at existing Contract prices subject to the provisions of Sub-Section 105.13. Any Force Account Agreement must be in writing, specifying the terms of payment and signed by the NFCID.
