Sealed bids are invited for the construction of the Mechunk Creek Water Intake Improvements (Project 799-B799- 005) at the Fluvanna Correctional Center. The project is generally described as replacement of the existing water intake screen and appurtenances which includes the intake screen, piping, valves, air burst system, remote cellular and internet controls, and associated electrical power system. The work also includes dredging of the Mechunk Creek in the vicinity of the intake screen. A Bid Bond is not required. A Standard Performance Bond and a Standard Labor and Material Payment Bond are required when the bid amount is greater than $500,000. eVA Vendor Registration: The bidder or offeror shall be a registered vendor in eVA.
