Renovation of a detention facility in San Antonio, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Adult Detention Center Sliding Doors Retrofit Project. Bidders should use unit pricing. Payment and performance bonds are required. Scope of Work: the contractor must furnish labor, equipment, material and delivery for: 1. Replace existing sliding pneumatic doors with new 120V electromechanical sliding door hardware per the plans and specs. 2. Provide new electrical wiring to equipment rooms per plans and specs. 3. Replacement of door lock hardware for existing Recreation Yard swing doors. 4. Resue existing lock cabling in existing conduit. 5. Remove and dispose of existing pneumatic tubing and low voltage cabling from conduits. Carefully disconnect from existing relays. 6. Final Connections and Startup 7. Provide new bundled door cable coil with slack in equipment rooms per plans. Final terminations will be made by others through a separate contract. 8. Provide contractors one year warranty, including provide a full parts warranty for one year from startup or 18 months from shipment, whichever occurs first. Alternate 1 isto replace existing sliding pneumatic doors with new 120V electromechanicalsliding door hardware per the plans and specs located in the Clinical Observation Unit. Doors in the Alternate scope include doors AB054, AB030, AB044, AB010, and AB009 located in Basement level of Tower A.
