Proposals for CM @ Risk for Cafeteria/Kitchen & Athletic Replacement at Oliver Wendell Holmes Project requires Bid Bond The Northside Independent School District ("NISD" or "Owner") of Bexar County, Texas proposes to construct an addition and renovation at Cafeteria / Kitchen & Athletic Replacement at Oliver Wendell Holmes High School ("Project") and is requesting sealed proposals for a Construction Manager-At-Risk for the work pursuant to Chapter 2267 of the Government Code. The Construction Manager-At-Risk shall assume the risk for construction, rehabilitation, alteration, or repair of the Project at the contracted price as a general contractor and provide consultation to the Owner regarding Construction during and after the design of the facility in accordance with any and all applicable requirements of the Texas Education Code. Proposals are to be submitted in accordance with this invitation and the accompanying instructions. DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: The Project is generally described as follows: an addition and renovation for Cafeteria / Kitchen, weight room and Athletic replacement of boys and girls locker rooms and competition gym with related and ancillary facilities in Bexar County in San Antonio, Texas. The completed facility is approximately 90,837 SF and will have a capacity of approximately 2,600 students with core facilities for 2,800 students. The program for the facility includes all general construction, site work, heating, air conditioning, electrical, plumbing and all other work as indicated in the construction documents.
