The work to be performed in general consists of storm drain improvements, removal and replacement of existing pavement, repairing curb, gutter, & sidewalk, and placing new pavement markings within the project limits. Other such items and details not mentioned herein that are required by the plans, Standard Specifications or these Special Provisions shall be performed, placed, constructed, or details. It is anticipated that the project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder at the City Council Meeting scheduled in June, 2025, with the Notice to Proceed being issued no later than July 7th, 2025. A Class "A" Contractor's License (General Engineering Contractor) is required to bid and complete this project. Inquiries or questions based on alleged patent ambiguity of the plans, specifications or estimate must be communicated as a bidder inquiry prior to bid opening. Any such inquiries or questions, submitted after bid opening, will not be treated as a bid protest. No bid may be withdrawn for the period of time after the date Bids are opened which is specified in the Bid Form. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to waive any informalities or irregularities therein.
