If unable to submit USB flash drive at time of the bidopening, it must be submitted within (24) hours. If Bidding documents are to be mailed, the Architect must receive a Federal Express, UPS or Express Mail Account number for mailing; Bidder's complete street address, phone and fax numbers; a $25.00 handling charge; and $50.00 per disk payable to the Architect, prior to mailing. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of the Affirmative Action, N.J.S.A.10:5-31 and N.J.A.C.17-27-1 et seq., Prevailing Wage Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq. All bidders shall possess a valid Public Works Contractor's Registration Certificate pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq., at the time the bid is received by the Board of Education of the Ocean County Vocational Technical School. Bidders on a public works project for a Board of Education where the cost of the work exceeds $20,000.00 must first have been qualified by the Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-27 through 33, and shall submit with bid a Prequalification Affidavit, a copy of a valid and active Notice of Classification, a certified copy of a Total Amount of Uncompleted Contracts Form and an Affidavit that subsequent to the latest such statement submitted by bidder, there has been no material adverse change in the bidder qualification information except as set forth in said Affidavit. Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the total bid shall be supplied in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond, but not in excess of $20,000.00. Per NJ State Law, the total price of the construction bid is firm for sixty (60) days. The Board of Education of the Ocean County Vocational Technical School is requesting an additional sixty (60) days if both parties agree to it.
