UK King's Daughters Medical Center, Department of Supply Chain Operations, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all formalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the Medical Center may be served. A 5 % bid bond or certified check equal to 5% of the bid will be required for all projects exceeding $40,000, including all alternates, and is to be submitted with the official form of proposal. A 100% payment and performance bond shall be executed for the full contract value of the base bid and any alternates accepted for all projects exceeding $40,000. Liquidated Damages shall be assessed in the amount of $500.00 per calendar day the project fails to reach Final Completion. The project is generally described as: The demolition and removal of associated duct work for UK King's Daughters Pain Center Suite lnstallation of new ductwork and HVAC roof unit for UK King's Daughters Pain Center Suite lnstallation of new split system indoor unit and new split system outdoor unit for UK King's Daughters Oncology Suite The demolition and removal of associated duct work for UK King's Daughters Mechanical Room lnstallation of new ductwork and HVAC for UK King's Daughters Mechanical Room After completion of installation, contractor will return existing finishes to mirror how the finishes looked prior to any work that was completed (ceilings, etc...) Contractor will work with the UK King's Daughters Medical Center Facilities Team for startup and onboarding of each unit upon completion of installation.
