Description of work: From week ofApril 7, 2025 to week of November 17, 2025 Two-time leaf cleanup of all parks and Village Hall grounds at start of season, and at end of season. First (1st) clean-up to be completed before commencement of grass cutting. (April 7th) The last clean-up must be done the week before Christmas, (cutting of ornamental grasses) LEAF CLEAN-UP PAID UPON COMPLETION - BOTH - SPRING & FALL A. Cut all grassed areas weekly. (All grass areas to be cut with mulching blades) Contractor to pick (1) day of the week. (Except Village Hall must be done on Thursday or Friday) *i.e. If cut on Thursday - weekly would be every Thursday NO EXCEPTIONS, UNLESS AGREED TO BY SUPT. OF PUBLIC WORKS If cutting is missed $ amount to be subtracted from bill. B. Power edge all curbs weekly. C. Power edge all sidewalks weekly. D. Trim around all playground equipment weekly. F. Hand rake Fiber Mulch in play areas - once in April & once in November. G. Trim all fenced areas weekly. H. Trim all shrubs weekly. I. Weed flowerbeds at Village Hall (as needed) (including by parking lot). J. Weeks of 7-7-25 through 8-8-25 VILLAGE HALL TO BE CUT AFTER 4:30 P.M. "HENKE PARK: I. KELLY PARKA, B, D, F, And G, H. METZNER PARK: A,B,C,D,F,G,H. _VILLAGE HALL & FRONT OF ADJOINING SUMP: A, B, C, D. H, I. (Includes beds by parking lot) _MUST BE FINISHED PRIOR TO 8:30 A.M. or done after 4:30 P.M., "PARTIAL LEAF REMOVAL AREAS - as follows: Leaf Removal Areas 1. Entire Parking Lot area including all beds and entrance and exit ways 2. Starting at Parking Lot, going south along Pond Path going into Park 50' in depth approximate length - 240' 3. Starting at Parking Lot going north along Pond Path going into asphalt walkway length of Park approximate length - 530' "_ROUTE 347, (Country Pointe) Frontage between Hallock Road & Stony Brook Road 1. Mowing and Hedge Trimming (bi-weekly) Proposals will be received in sealed envelopes prominently marked in red letters "GROUNDS MAINTENANCE" and must be made upon and in accordance with the specifications set forth above, together with Statement of Non-Collusion, which may be obtained at the office of the Village Clerk, 980 Hawkins Avenue, Lake Grove, New York.
