Contractors shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials for the Illinois State University Bone Student Center Parking Lot project. This project will have multiple prime contracts including a General Construction Contract and an Electrical Contract. Work to include but is not limited to the removal and replacement of existing asphalt and concrete in the parking areas, drop off areas, modified parking entrances, landscaping and pedestrian paving updates, lighting replacement, restriping, addition of new parking controls and all associated data and electrical work, and new vehicle entrance including canopies and pre-fabricated booth. Refer to Division 01 for the technical specifications for a complete, detailed breakdown of the contractor specific base bids for this project. Initial parking lot completion for owner operation shall be by August 8, 2025. Substantial project completion shall be subsequently scheduled for October 30, 2025. General Construction Contract Scope of Work: Work of the General Construction Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following: Work identified as inclusive of the General Construction Contract, remaining work not identified as work under other contracts, selective site demolition and earthwork. Site improvements including roadways, parking lots and pedestrian paving, site development furnishings and equipment, and landscaping. Miscellaneous items, including installation of metal panels, PV, parking controls or as otherwise shown in the drawings. Owner furnished, contractor installed related items. Contractors will be responsible to coordinate lead times of all materials and the overall project schedule to complete the project on time. Any additional costs to expedite materials or source alternate/substitutions will be borne by the contractor. There is a 9% BEP goal for the General Prime and an 11% BEP goal for the Electrical Prime for this procurement.
