Carefully remove approximately 100 glass blocks, approximate size 5"x 5"x3" (to be verified in field by Contractor) at various locations at 4 buildings with 13 different addresses per Attachment A. 2. Furnish approximately 100 glass blocks - where damaged glass blocks were removed, per Attachment A. 3. The glass blocks will be products of Pittsburgh Glass, Corning, or approved equal. Contractor is to submit a sample with the Manufacturers' cut sheets, product data, etc. 4. Provide necessary steel lintels and/or angles at the window openings after the old ones are removed. Paint as needed in the field to match existing. 5. Provide grout, appropriate for glass block, silicone, or as approved by HACP. Color to match existing. 6. Provide scaffolding or bucket lift as required for installation. Contractor is to visit the site to evaluate existing conditions, the height ofthe removal and installation of glass blocks, etc. 7. The Authority will provide temporary water/electricity to the extent possible. It is the Contractor's responsibility to verify the availability of the same and advise HACP accordingly. Ifit is not practical to access the power, Contractor shall provide its own generator for power supply. 8. Buildings will be occupied during the work and Contractor shall take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of residents during this work. 9. All work areas will be cleaned completely after work, at the end of each work day. Areas will be protected for safety until final completion of work and acceptance by HACP. 10. Contractor to Provide its own security if warranted.
