The North Peace Regional Airport is requesting proposals for the Design/Refurbishment of the Airport Fire Detection and Alarm System. The airport is mandated by federal and provincial laws to ensure that the appropriate means of fire detection and notification are present throughout the ATB and airport infrastructure buildings in the event of an emergency or evacuation. The current fire detection and alarm system is at the end of its life cycle and requires replacement due to the high number of operational hours and age-related advancement in monitoring component-related deficiencies. This proposal must include the Main Terminal, Firehall, Maintenance Shop, Pumphouse, FEC and Sewer Lift Station (which has No alarm system). The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
