The Designers Basic Services shall include: all investigative work, design work, preparation of construction documents, bidding period administration, construction administration, construction closeout, and other related work. Question Deadline: March 14, 2025 at 5:00 P.M Section 12 is intended for projects on which a designer contracts with an agency of the Commonwealth. MSBA-funded projects should not be included as work for the Commonwealth. Cities, towns, and regional school districts are the owner for MSBA funded projects As stated in the RFR under Section IV Response Requirements, (1)(b), applicants must have an up-to-date Master File Brochure on file at the MSBA Additionally, the cover letter must also acknowledge that the Respondent has read and takes no exceptions the current version of the MSBAs Standard Contract for Heat Pump Designer Services (MSBA Accelerated Repair Program) and Contract for Heat Pump Designer Services Amendment (Attachment C). No, consultants previously involved with the MSBA Heat Pump study are not precluded from submitting a response Please refer to Section I. Summary for a summary of the scope of the Heat Pump Designers requested responsibilities. In part this summary states: For heat pump conversion projects, Designers will be responsible for all existing HVAC system investigation work, design work, preparation of construction documents, bidding period administration, construction administration, coordination with the Commissioning Consultant, construction closeout and other related work necessary to meeting the projects scope and schedule. MSBA understands that Designers may find it necessary on some proposed projects to also design and include electrical service upgrades in the project scope in consultation with the District and OPM. MSBA understands that a ground source heat pump (GSHP) system includes the well field, underground vault(s), and related piping connections into the building. MSBA also understands that disturbed site surfaces should be expected to be returned to the existing conditions prior to construction No. All projects in the Accelerated Repair Program, regardless of project cost, are assigned an Owners Project Manager.
