To address the current sidewalk replacement backlog of 4,800 locations, a consultant is currently inspecting 2,600 locations identified for repairs. Based on this assessment, it is anticipated that 80% of these locations will require concrete repairs. The assessment will provide staff with detailed information needed to prioritize repairs. Issuing on-call contracts to qualified local contractors will streamline the repair process and help reduce the existing backlog of pending repairs. This project involves the replacement of concrete within the public right-of-way, including sidewalks, driveway aprons, curbs, and gutters. Work may also include limited tree and stump removal, as necessary, to facilitate repairs. Contractors will be assigned work through individual task orders specifying the scope of work and not-to-exceed amounts. Services will be provided on an on-call basis to complete concrete repairs citywide. This is an invitation to provide on-call concrete repair services consisting of maintenance and repair of concrete sidewalks, driveways, and curbs as required by the City of Sunnyvale ("City") in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions specified herein. The initial agreement term shall be for a three-year period. The City intends to award contracts to multiple vendors. Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned, and Small Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation.
