The Toronto Lands Corporation (TLC), acting on behalf of the Toronto District School Board (TDSB), is issuing this Request for Proposals for architectural services to design a mixed-use residential building led by the inclusion of a new podium elementary school at 50 Ethennonnhawahstihnen' Lane (Block 20 of the Canadian Tire Lands). TIMELINE: Schematic designs are underway. The objective is to develop 2 design concepts, which will be followed by a more detailed schematic design. The TLC aims to present a business case for this site to the Ministry of Education by the end of 2025 and will share the results of the design process with the community once completed. Further update early 2026. *Architects are working in a joint-venture collaboration; contact names have yet to be released. *Construction cost has yet to be finalized.
