The work involves construction of approximately 8,500 linear feet (lf) of 8-inch HDPE gravity sewer by pipe bursting methods, construction of approximately 270 lf of 8-inch PVC gravity sewer main by open trench construction, construction of approximately 15 lf of 8-inch PVC overflow connection by open trench construction, and construction of approximately 30 lf of 8-inch HDPE gravity sewer by hand excavation. The work also includes the rehabilitation of 24 manholes, installation of 9 new manholes, removal of 9 flushing inlets and replacement of 6 flushing inlets, reconnection of service connections along the various pipeline alignments, and the abandonment of a single lateral from flushing inlet O7100 to the mainline between flushing inlet O709 and manhole O708. Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $4,000,000. The Project has an expected duration of 190 days.
