Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Walker, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Kent County Purchasing Division is soliciting bids for trail construction at Johnson Park located at 2600 Wilson Avenue, Walker, MI 49534. The project consists of construction of 6 miles of natural shared use single-track trails with primary use of mountain biking, but will also allow walkers, runners bikers (adaptive mountain bikers), and other trail users. Project funding is provided by Downtown Grand Rapids Inc (DGRI) and is a federally assisted construction project. Work to be completed by September 1, 2026.
