**As of May 19, 2025, the project was awarded to JM Construction, with an awarded amount of $997,636.82.* This alternative would replacethe structurally deficient CMPA culverts with a new Precast Concrete 3-Sided Rigid Frame Structure(35 ft clear span x 10 ft frame height), found on bedrock. The roadway reconstructed highway sectionover the 3-sided rigid frame structure will be 8" of asphalt with 12" of subbase maintaining a similarexisting roadway profile to meet the hydraulic design criteria requirements for a bridge. The proposedwork will be performed while traffic is maintained via an offsite detour, utilizing Richley Road, HarperRoad, Sumner Road (County Road 21), and Simonds Road. Additional work will involve approximately80 ft. of approach roadway reconstruction on each side of the bridge, installation of heavy stone fillaprons and guide railing replacement.This project is a Federally Funded Project.
