Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Menlo Park, California. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; educational facility; and water / sewer project.
The project will include traffic calming improvements along Middle Avenue from El Camino Real to Olive Street. The scope of work general consists of new signing and striping (including bicycle lanes), curb ramps, drainage gutters, speed humps, rectangular rapid flashing beacons, and asphalt resurfacing within the project corridor. The project will enhance safety for pedestrians and bicyclists, reduce vehicle speed and improve connectivity to schools, parks, stores, and adjacent neighborhoods. Bidders shall refer to the following specifications and project plans for additional information. Engineers estimate for Base Bid is $2,000,000.
