Bus lane, site improvements, construction of new classrooms and demolition of old classrooms at Osborn Two-Way Immersion Academy, 201 N. Soderquist Road, Turlock, CA 95380. Copies of the RFP may be obtained by contacting the Office of Business Services at (209) 667-0632 x2302 or at Turlock Unified School District, Room #212, 1574 E. Canal Drive, Turlock, CA 95380. This Project is subject to prequalification. If a contractor is not prequalified by the Owner, Owner will not accept the contractor's proposal. Any general contractor and mechanical, electrical and plumbing subcontractors must have current pre-qualified status with the Owner. Pre-qualification applications are required to be submitted to the Owner, per the RFP, by Monday, March 17, 2025, at 2:00 pm. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularities in any bid received. If the District awards the Contract, the security of unsuccessful bidder(s) shall be returned within sixty (60) days from the time the award is made. Unless otherwise required by law, no bidder may withdraw its bid for sixty (60) days after the date of the bid opening. Pursuant to the Contract Documents, the successful contractor will be required to furnish a Payment (Labor and Material) Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Total Sublease Amount, and a Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Total Sublease Amount, said bonds to be secured from Admitted Surety insurers (an insurance organization authorized by the Insurance Commissioner to transact business of insurance in the State of California during this calendar year). The surety insurers must, unless otherwise agreed to by Owner in writing, at the time of issuance of the bonds, have a rating not lower than "A-" as rated by A.M. Best Company, Inc. or other independent rating companies. Owner reserves the right to approve or reject the surety insurers selected by the successful contractor and to require the successful contractor to obtain bonds from surety insurers satisfactory to the Owner. The contractor will be required to furnish insurance as set forth in the Contract Documents.
